For the first time since 2019, Walt Disney World Resort is preparing to operate all six of its parks simultaneously. From 21st May through 7th September 2025, guests can dive into adventures at both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks alongside the resort’s four theme parks.
Double the Water Parks, Double the Fun

The announcement comes as Blizzard Beach celebrates its 30th anniversary, marking a special milestone for the frosty-themed park. Before welcoming summer guests, Blizzard Beach will undergo a brief “melt away” period, temporarily closing from 1-20 May.
Disney is also offering complimentary water park admission on arrival days throughout 2025. Starting 21 May, guests can choose which water park to explore on their first day – at no additional cost.
H2O Glow After Hours Returns
H2O Glow After Hours also returns this summer at Typhoon Lagoon, running on select evenings between 23 May and 13 September. This after-dark spectacular transforms the water park into an illuminated dance party featuring complimentary snacks and exclusive appearances by Toy Story characters.
Tickets for this glowing extravaganza are available now for select Resort hotel guests, with general sales beginning 4 April.
This summer’s dual water park operation represents Disney World’s commitment to expanding guest options as part of their “Cool Kid Summer” initiative, which includes special deals, new shows, and limited-time entertainment across the resort.
