Buckle in! Disney Cruise Line has revealed the entertainment and dining lineup for Disney Destiny, its upcoming heroes-and-villains-themed ship, and it’s shaping up to be the most immersive cruise experience the company has ever created.
From a full-scale Hercules musical to a Cruella de Vil lounge where guests’ fashion choices face her infamous critiques, the ship leans heavily into character-driven storytelling.
Here’s what’s on the ship.
Disney Hercules: A New Broadway-Style Show

The headline addition is Disney Hercules, a modern retelling of the 1997 animated film that blends gospel-inspired soul with pop-concert energy. The show features classics like Go the Distance, Zero to Hero, and I Won’t Say I’m in Love, alongside Shooting Star, a never-before-heard ballad.
The Muses narrate the story of gods, mortals, and mythological beings. Michael Curry puppetry (known for The Lion King on Broadway) brings creatures like the Hydra to life on stage.
Hercules joins Disney Destiny’s theatrical lineup alongside Frozen, A Musical Spectacular and Disney Seas the Adventure.
Pride Lands: An African Feast with Live Entertainment
For families, Pride Lands, Feast of The Lion King, transforms dining on the Disney Destiny into an immersive experience. Styled as a Boma on the African savannah, the restaurant features magical windows displaying sunrises and sunsets, plus a tiered drum-stage for live performances.
Musicians and storytellers perform using authentic African instruments and theatrical props, with songs including Circle of Life, Hakuna Matata, a mash-up of I Just Can’t Wait to Be King and Be Prepared, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, and He Lives in You.
The menu blends African-inspired flavours with Disney Cruise favourites, with a second themed menu available on five-night sailings.
De Vil’s: Cruella’s Adult-Exclusive Lounge
The adult-only De Vil’s lounge channels Cruella de Vil’s Hollywood Regency aesthetic in red, black, and white, complete with a fibre-optic Cruella silhouette and spotted piano overlooking the Grand Hall.
Entertainment includes Wretched Runway, where guests showcase their fashion whilst Cruella herself critiques (or occasionally praises) their style. Guests can also help “improve” the infamous Cruella song during musical encounters.
Signature cocktails include:
- The Fashionista (tequila with banana liqueur, lime, and freeze-dried fruits)
- The zero-proof Fearless Sir Galahad (bourbon alternative with maple syrup, bitters, and aromatic smoke)
The Sanctum: Doctor Strange’s Marvel Lounge
The Sanctum brings Doctor Strange’s New York base to life with rich red and gold accents, magical décor, and family-friendly entertainment, including crafts, trivia, and musical performances.
Magical cocktails and mocktails feature tableside interactive presentations, with signature items like Mirror Dimension, Circle of Cosmos, and stuffed waffles on the menu.
Cask & Cannon: A Pirates Lounge for All Ages
Inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean films and theme park attractions, Cask & Cannon welcomes both adults and families with mismatched “pillaged” furnishings, nautical motifs, skulls, treasure maps, and barrel stools.
The wooden-plank interior features charred carvings and lanterns evoking the Disney Parks attractions, whilst the bar front is made from stacked treasure chests. Thirteen drawers decorated with treasure maps reference Disney Parks around the globe.
The beverage menu focuses on rare and vintage rums, plus “bootlegged” brews.
Disney Destiny is set to debut later this year, bringing Disney’s heroes and villains to sea in the cruise line’s most thematic ship yet. Disney’s other new ship, the Disney Adventure, will set sail next spring.
