Disney’s Hollywood Studios is about to get a serious upgrade this summer, with two brand-new groundbreaking shows.
Both Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure will open on 27th May 2025, offering guests unprecedented glimpses into the worlds of villains and mermaids.

Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After
Disney is ready to turn villainous narratives on their head with a new show that promises to be anything but predictable. Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will cast its spell over Hollywood Studios from 27 May 2025, offering guests a chance to hear the other side of Disney’s most infamous stories.
The Magic Mirror takes centre stage, inviting audience members to help determine which villain has been most misunderstood. Iconic characters like Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent will step into the spotlight, presenting their compelling cases for sympathy.
Featuring a brand-new stage at Sunset Showcase, the production boasts state-of-the-art technology developed over nearly two years. Comfortable theatre seating and thrilling visual effects promise an immersive experience that will challenge everything audiences thought they knew about Disney’s legendary antagonists.
The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure
On the same day, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will dive deep into Ariel’s world with a fully reimagined theatrical production: The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure.
Reportedly, the new show will feature stunning digital puppetry, special effects, and innovative costume and set design. Expect a bold new design that captures Ariel’s unique perspective, bringing her imaginative world to vibrant life through cutting-edge theatrical techniques.
Musical highlights include beloved classics “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World”, alongside two exciting new additions: “Daughters of Triton” and “Kiss the Girl”.
