Disneyland Paris Celebrates Notre Dame Cathedral with Spectacular New Pre-Show
In honour of the highly-anticipated reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, Disneyland Paris is pulling out all the stops to celebrate in style. From December 5-14, 2024, Disneyland Park will present an all-new nightly pre-show, “Disney ❤ Notre-Dame de Paris,” a tribute to one of France’s most treasured cultural icons.
A Musical Journey to the Bells of Notre Dame
What better way to celebrate than with The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the beloved 1996 Disney animated classic? An exclusive dazzling pre-show created especially for this occasion. Hosted by the lively and mischievous Clopin, the performance whisks audiences into a captivating retelling of the film’s story, brought to life with Quasimodo and Esmeralda.
The experience is set to a stunning reimagining of the film’s iconic songs, recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios with none other than the London Symphony Orchestra. These reimagined arrangements breathe new life into favourites like Out There and God Help the Outcasts.
High-Tech Effects
Prepare to be wowed by cutting-edge effects that combine projection mapping, fireworks, water jets, and drones. In collaboration with Dronisos, Disneyland Paris’ Official Technology Provider, this pre-show promises to deliver visual magic that will transport you to the heart of Paris and the enchanting world of Notre-Dame.
The multi-sensory performance will be presented each night before Disney Illuminations, replacing the equally-impressive Disney Electrical Sky Parade for this limited-time celebration. But, don’t panic – the Electrical Sky Parade will return on December 15, once the tribute has finished.
