Disneyland Paris has confirmed that its nighttime spectacular Disney Tales of Magic will permanently drop its drone element from 1st April 2026. This is a notable change for one of the park’s headline evening experiences.
No reason has been given for the decision, though drone shows at theme parks have faced increasing operational challenges in recent years, from weather disruptions to airspace restrictions.
Temporary Changes This Summer Too
On top of the permanent drone removal, the show will run in a modified format from 4th May through to the end of September 2026.
The temporary changes are to accommodate a refurbishment of the Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge, which forms part of the show’s backdrop and guest viewing area.
Disneyland Paris has not yet detailed exactly what the modified version of the show will look like during this period, so guests visiting over the summer should keep an eye out for updates closer to their trip.
