Disneyland Paris has offered a first look at the redesigned rooms coming to Disney Sequoia Lodge, as the resort continues its ongoing programme of hotel refurbishments.
Walt Disney Imagineering Paris has completed model rooms for the first phase of the renovation, which covers all rooms across the hotel’s five outdoor lodges.
The model room stage is a key part of the creative process, allowing Imagineers to experience their designs at full scale and make any final adjustments before work gets underway in earnest.
What the New Rooms Will Look Like

The redesign takes its cues from the natural sequoia forest setting the hotel has been known for since opening in 1992, leaning into a nature-inspired theme and celebrating Disney and Pixar characters who call the forest home. Bambi and friends feature prominently, alongside characters from Pixar’s Brave.
Artistic Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris Sophie Coudré described the team as “delighted with the results” of the model room tests, noting that the process allowed the creative team to validate the artistic direction, refine material choices, and make necessary adjustments before full renovation begins.
More Than Just the Rooms

The outdoor lodges are just the first phase. Once complete, the refurbishment will extend across the rest of the hotel, including the lobby, dining, and shopping areas, all reimagined around the same wildlife and nature theme.
Disney Sequoia Lodge will remain open throughout, with works carried out in phases to minimise disruption to guests. No completion date has been confirmed yet.
