Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel will close for interior renovations starting 17th February 2026.
Indoor seating will be unavailable during the refurbishment, though outdoor seating will remain open. Disney has not announced a reopening date.
Trader Sam’s Tiki Bar Renovation Scope
A permit filed in October reveals the extent of planned changes. The work includes replacing interior show effects, show lighting, and lighting systems throughout the bar. Exterior updates will see 42 gas tiki torches replaced with epoxy anchors, and a new air conditioner installed in the electrical room.
The bar opened in 2011 as a Jungle Cruise-inspired themed lounge and has become a popular destination for hotel guests and locals alike. The upcoming refurbishment marks the most significant update to the venue since it debuted.
