If you haven’t had the chance to go get that dino at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in recent months, time is officially running out. In a post on Disney Parks Blog, the company has confirmed the iconic DINOSAUR ride will close sometime in 2026. But don’t panic – you still have a chance to experience the prehistoric thrill before it becomes history.

This beloved attraction, which has been transporting guests back to the Cretaceous period since 1998, will close to make way for the upcoming Tropical Americas land. The new expansion promises to bring lush landscapes, fresh adventures, and (we hope) some exciting animal encounters. But for now, it’s time to grab your time rover buddies, buckle up, and prepare for one last mission to save the iguanodon.

Bye, Bye DINOSAUR

2025 is shaping up to be the year to visit and say goodbye. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of dodging meteors or just love hearing Dr. Seeker’s chaotic enthusiasm, this is your chance to soak up every last prehistoric moment.

Stay tuned for updates on the new Tropical Americas land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
