Parents, mark your calendars: The LEGO Group and Merlin Entertainments’ LEGOLAND Resorts are teaming up to launch the first-ever LEGO Festival.
Kicking off at LEGOLAND Windsor on 3rd May 2025, the festival runs on selected dates until 8th June 2025, offering an exciting new way for families to experience the magic of LEGO play.
With five interactive zones, 49 stunning new big-build LEGO models, and a mission to spread the joy of play, the LEGO Festival is shaping up to be this spring’s must-visit event.
Five Zones of Fun

The LEGO Festival is designed to be a child’s first festival experience and will boast five themed zones:
- Music Zone – Feel the beat and dance along to playful tunes.
- Creativity Zone – Unleash your imagination and create your own LEGO masterpieces.
- Dance Zone – Move, groove, and express yourself through playful routines.
- Gaming Zone – Dive into interactive LEGO-themed games and challenges.
- Chill Out Zone – Take a break, relax, and recharge before the next adventure.
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a unique photo opportunity featuring a city-specific “I Heart Play” LEGO model. Visitors can even add their own brick to the model, a fun touch that we’re sure little ones will enjoy.
Fiona Eastwood, CEO of Merlin Entertainments, shared her excitement: “LEGOLAND Resorts have always been a child’s first experience of a theme park – who better to deliver their first festival? We wanted to create a fun and memorable experience where imaginations can run wild and creativity knows no limits.”
David Buxbaum, Senior Vice President of LEGO Brand Parks & Experiences, echoed this sentiment: “At the LEGO Group, we believe play is essential for every child’s development and happiness. This festival embodies our commitment to creativity and the joy of play. We can’t wait to see families come together and make lasting memories.”
Play with Purpose: The Play Pact
Although mostly about fun, the LEGO Festival will also offer a way to give back. Families are encouraged to make a “Play Pact” – a promise to build more, laugh louder, explore endlessly, and always keep playing.
For every pact made, Merlin Entertainments and the LEGO Group will provide play opportunities for underserved children worldwide, aiming to deliver 100,000 hours of playtime.
A Global Celebration of Play
The LEGO Festival at LEGOLAND Windsor is set to be a highlight of 2025 for mini Lego fans. Mark your calendars for 3rd May – 8th June 2025 and get ready to build memories that will last a lifetime.
