The highly anticipated Efteling Grand Hotel has announced its official opening date: the luxurious new addition to the park will welcome its first overnight guests from Friday, 1st August 2025. This marks a historic milestone as the first hotel located inside the theme park itself.
The announcement came during a topping out ceremony, where the construction team celebrated reaching the hotel’s highest point by installing an impressive four-metre-tall spire on the largest dome of the roof.
In a special treat for eager fans, early bookings will open on Tuesday, 11th March 2025 for pre-registered guests, with general reservations available from Monday, 17th March 2025 via the Efteling Grand Hotel website.
Inside the Efteling Grand Hotel
Set to be 106 metres wide and spanning seven floors, the Efteling Grand Hotel will offer 140 rooms and suites, accommodating a total of 644 beds. Designed to deliver the charm of a traditional grand hotel, it promises a luxurious stay right in the heart of the theme park.
Guests can unwind in the exclusive swimming pool and spa facilities, the perfect way to relax after a day of adventures. Dining promises to be equally magical, with two unique restaurants:
- Brasserie 7: Serving classic dishes with whimsical twists, including magical ingredients like dragon’s breath and fairy dust.
- Restaurant-Bar Mystique: An enchanting venue offering a diverse range of flavours and culinary delights.
In addition, visitors can enjoy Café Biscuit for light bites and sweet treats, while Arcadeau, the hotel’s spacious souvenir shop, will offer exclusive keepsakes.
Each room is themed in one of four distinct colour palettes and provides breathtaking views of the park’s iconic attractions, including the Aquanura water show, the House of the Five Senses entrance, or the Pardoes Promenade Lane.

The Efteling Grand Hotel will be a welcome addition to the park’s growing accommodation offerings. It joins the recently renovated Efteling Wonder Hotel, reopening this April, as well as the popular Efteling Bosrijk and Efteling Loonsche Land holiday villages.
