Tokyo Disney Resort is simplifying guest experiences at Fantasy Springs by eliminating standby passes from 1st April 2025.
Since its spectacular launch last summer, Fantasy Springs has operated under a unique entry system requiring guests to secure either a free Standby Pass or purchase Disney Premier Access to experience attractions. The Standby Pass – essentially a virtual queue that allocated specific ride entry time slots – will soon become a thing of the past.
Goodbye, Standby Passes!

From April, visitors will enjoy a more traditional theme park experience. Guests can walk directly up to attractions and join standard queue lines. Disney Premier Access will remain available for those seeking a faster route onto popular rides.
The change marks a significant shift from the land’s initial restrictive (and very confusing) entry policies. When Fantasy Springs first opened, guests couldn’t even enter the area without a Standby Pass or Disney Premier Access. By January, this limitation was relaxed, allowing guests to explore the land freely while still requiring pass options for ride access.
