Disneyland will remove the 11 AM park hopping restriction, allowing guests with Park Hopper tickets or Magic Key passes to move between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure at any time.
Previously, guests had to wait until 11 AM before visiting their second park of the day. The new policy allows park hopping at any time after tapping into the first park, subject to park capacity, operational hours, and closures.
Disney has not announced when the restriction will be lifted, stating only that it will happen “soon”.
How Park Hopping Works
Guests with a valid Park Hopper ticket or Magic Key pass can visit both parks on the same day, subject to park availability. After making a park reservation, guests must enter and tap into their first park before crossing over to the second park.
A park reservation is not currently required for the second park after visiting the first, though Disney notes reservation requirements are subject to change.
Park Hopper hours may vary depending on the day and park. Check the Park Hours calendar or the Disneyland app for the most current information.
