Disney has confirmed that Soarin’ Across America will open at EPCOT on 26th May, the day after Memorial Day.
The limited-time experience replaces the current Soarin’ Around the World and takes guests on a tour of the United States, highlighting natural landmarks and iconic cityscapes from coast to coast.
Soarin’ Over the Grand Canyon
Walt Disney Imagineering filmed more than a dozen locations across the country for the attraction (including the Grand Canyon – as shown in the photos above), and like previous versions of Soarin’, the ride will feature a specially composed score along with new in-ride scents to match the visuals.
Patrick Warburton returns as flight attendant to welcome guests aboard, tying the new overlay back to the beloved character who has appeared in previous versions of the attraction.
Soarin’ Across America is a limited-time offering and will also be coming to Disney California Adventure, where it opens on 2nd July – ahead of America’s Independence Day celebrations.
