Alton Towers Resort has shared a first look at Toxicator, the resort’s latest thrilling addition. Alton Towers has also confirmed when daring guests can take their first spin on this intense new ride.

For those eager to test their limits, the countdown is on – Toxicator officially opens to the public on Saturday, 15th March. Even more excitingly, guests can be among the first to experience its extreme power in the dark as part of the Alton After Dark event.

A High-Octane Addition to Forbidden Valley

Towering at an eye-watering 78ft, thanks to its 16ft elevated platform, Toxicator is officially the highest topspin ride in the UK. Nestled within Forbidden Valley, it sits alongside the legendary Nemesis Reborn, which underwent an incredible 18-month transformation last year.

This latest addition cements Forbidden Valley’s reputation as the ultimate destination for high-intensity thrills. As the only elevated topspin ride in the world, it offers an unmatched viewing experience, allowing onlookers to witness the full force of its rotations from underneath.

Adding to the drama, towering water fountains surround the ride, symbolising the chemical solution derived from Nemesis’ toxic saliva. This all ties into the immersive narrative of The Phalanx, the shadowy organisation responsible for harnessing the extreme centrifugal forces of Toxicator to extract and refine the monstrous beast’s venom.
