Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will reopen its Garden View Lounge Tea Experience on 19th March, featuring a new Alice in Wonderland theme. This is part of the Grand Floridian’s ongoing revamp.
The afternoon tea service will offer a three-tier selection of sweet and savoury items, paired with premium Twinings loose-leaf teas.
The Garden View Lounge’s New Menu
Guests will work with trained cast members to select and customise their tea, choosing from blends including London Strand Breakfast, Spicy Chai, and Orangery of Lady Grey – a black tea with orange notes exclusive to Walt Disney World Resort. Aromatic additions can be incorporated during the steeping process.
The savoury tier includes items such as Curried Chicken Salad Playing Card Tart, Wonderland Salmon Crisp, and Caterpillar Cucumber Roll on pumpernickel. Sweet options feature Matcha Mad Hatter sponge cake, Tea Party Tart with coffee custard, and an Earl Grey teacake painted tableside.
The experience also offers two signature tea-based cocktails (the Mint Tulip with bourbon and peach mango tea, and the Mar-TEA-ni with Irish gin and Earl Grey) alongside non-alcoholic specialty teas, champagne, and sparkling wines.

Plant-based options are available, with optional enhancements including seasonal cheese or Royal Osetra caviar. A children’s menu features items like the Queen of Hearts Cheese Toastie and White Rabbit vanilla cupcake.
The reopening is a big deal – the lounge has been closed for 6 years. Reservations open on 19th February.
