A classic Disney character is finally making his theme park debut after more than 70 years on screen.
Humphrey the Bear will begin appearing at Storytellers Cafe’s Donald’s Tales of Adventure dinner buffet from 6th February 2026, marking his first-ever character appearance in any Disney park worldwide.

The mischievous grizzly, who starred in several Disney animated shorts during the 1950s alongside Goofy and Donald Duck, previously inspired the name of Humphrey’s Service & Supplies shop in Disney California Adventure – but never actually appeared as a walk-around character until now.
His debut coincides with the 25th anniversary of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, where Storytellers Cafe is located. The hotel first welcomed guests on 2nd January 2001.
Advanced reservations for the character dining experience can be booked up to 60 days ahead via the website or the Disneyland app.
