Disney California Adventure will bring back its opening day classic Soarin’ Over California for a limited five-month run as part of the park’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The fan-favourite attraction returns on 6th February and will operate through 1st July 2026, giving guests a chance to experience the original flight over iconic California landmarks including the Golden Gate Bridge, Yosemite National Park, Palm Springs, and downtown Los Angeles.
Following its departure on 2nd July, the ride will transform once again – this time debuting Soarin’ Across America in celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary.
Other DCA 25th Anniversary Celebrations
The return of Soarin’ Over California is one of several anniversary offerings at the park, which opened on 8th February 2001. Other celebrations include new character meet-and-greets and limited-edition merchandise including an interactive popcorn bucket.
Soarin’ Over California originally operated from the park’s opening until 2016, when it was replaced by Soarin’ Around the World.
