Disneyland Paris’ second park has officially opened its doors under a new name, with Disney Adventure World welcoming its first guests this morning.
The reveal came in typically Disney fashion. Spider-Man appeared atop the Earffel Tower before the park opened, surprising early arrivals with a humorous cameo before unveiling the park’s new name to the crowd below.
Visiting Adventure Way and World of Frozen
The first guests through the gates were children from Make-A-Wish and their families, who walked Adventure Way accompanied by the Disney Marching Band and a guard of honour made up of Disney characters and Cast Members.
Their first stop was World of Frozen, the park’s headline new land, which opened today alongside Frozen Ever After, a live show featuring a next-generation robotic Olaf, and Raiponce Tangled Spin.
This evening, the park hosted its first ever nighttime spectacular. Disney Cascade of Lights combines drones, flames, water screens, fountains, pyrotechnics, and projected animation in a show designed to put guests closer to the action than a traditional park spectacular.
Fifteen new dining locations also opened with the park today.
