Disneyland Paris has officially named its upcoming Up-inspired attraction: Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings.
The family ride is set to open in Disney Adventure World in 2027, joining the growing lineup of experiences along Adventure Way. Construction officially began in November 2025, with the attraction located directly opposite Raiponce Tangled Spin.
Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings

Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings is a flying chair carousel, one of the most classic fairground formats there is, but with a Pixar twist.
The attraction will seat 64 guests across 48 chairs, with several duo seats available for pairs. As the ride spins, a tilting dome above intensifies the sensation of flight.
The theming places guests in the Up story as members of the Wilderness Explorers earning their Aviation badge. The queue is split into four zones representing key moments from the film, decorated with props including Carl’s childhood aviator helmet and goggles, and Ellie’s adventure book.
Art Nouveau Inspo
The attraction blends Art Nouveau and industrial design: wrought iron arches, balloon and cloud motifs, and a golden spike at the top representing Carl and Ellie’s house. That last detail is a nod to Pascal’s silhouette on the roof of the neighbouring Raiponce Tangled Spin attraction.
The ride will sit at the heart of a new Up-themed garden, giving guests a green space to explore before and after.
