It’s the ultimate crossover: Disneyland Paris has teamed up with Doritos to bring tasty new snacks to guests.
The snacks in question are Doritos Loaded, a trio of crunchy, flavour-packed recipes. Available at Overland Trail Cafe from 20th March 2025, these bold new bites are the perfect snack for hungry cowboys, outlaws, and gold prospectors alike.
But that’s not all; a brand-new character has been introduced to the world of Frontierland. Inspired by real-life figures like Mary Fields, Annie Oakley, and Calamity Jane, this fearless stagecoach mail carrier is bringing a new adventure – and a delicious discovery – to Thunder Mesa.
A Crunchy Culinary Creation with Doritos
During her many travels across the frontier, this new character crossed paths with Ol’ Klondike, a seasoned gold prospector who shared a simple yet satisfying meal: crispy, triangular corn chips.
She stocked up on the snack for her next journey, but as she rattled down the dusty trails, the chips mixed with the goods in her stagecoach. What could have been a disaster turned out to be a stroke of culinary genius – the flavourful fusion became an instant hit with the locals of Thunder Mesa, and so the new snacks were born.
David Goebel, Lead Concept Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, explains:
“We took great care in weaving our new character’s story into the rich mythology of Frontierland. As a larger-than-life trailblazer, she fits right into the colourful cast of characters who inhabit Thunder Mesa.”
Overland Trail Cafe: A Reimagined Experience
To bring this exciting new chapter of Frontierland to life, Overland Trail Cafe has been transformed with brand-new decor and storytelling elements, including:
A wooden billboard detailing the stagecoach driver’s travels, complete with a dime novel cover showcasing her legendary adventures.
Historic-style photos of the cafe owner with Thunder Mesa’s residents, including her old friend Ol’ Klondike.
Hand-crafted signage and props designed by Imagineers, reinforcing the authentic Western trading post feel.
